The welcome is warm and our coats were taken - put on the foyer rack. The cuisine is French with Japanese tones. Superb. The wine list is sound and we chose a fine Chablis - our favourite. We had for entree the cuttlefish and the scallops - perfectly cooked with delicate light enhancing sauces. Mains were the veal and the fish - again finely prepared and cooked. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. One of our favourite restaurants!
Sadly, my native language being English, I am not able to express my views in the language of food, French. Hyperbole in any language is hardly desirous but I fear that there can be no other form of expression for, Great God on toast, Les Enfants Rouges (presumably the owners are closet Maoists) is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited.
Excellent service and food! We found this LeMarais gem online and decided to give it a try. Service was exceptional. The food did not disappoint either. Subtle nods of Japanese flavors worked through the entree and plats, good wine selections and non alcoholic options. I would recommend to friends.
